Housed in our purposed built dedicated studios, Assembly Arts offer non-assessed teaching embracing both practical skill development and idea generation: Classes which help participants to develop both a point of view and a body of work intended as preparation for future study of Art & Design at University or as the building blocks for a future career as an artist.

​We provide space for you to develop as an artist in an honest and authentic way. With the expert guidance and support of our resident Artists, you will be able to develop a portfolio as individual as you are.

Assembly Arts offers three levels of membership: Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. 

​

Primary Membership runs for a year, and is aimed at creatives who are looking to explore their own artistic point of view.  It includes open access to our networking events (which take place every Tuesday evening and cover a range of topics), members only social meetups and trips (this year the members have visited Pots in the Park, Glasgow galleries and the Burrell Collection). Primary membership also includes 20% off classes and discounted room hire.

Secondary and Tertiary Memberships offer additional benefits for those who are looking to develop their portfolio of work through the attendance of our classes. These Memberships run for a term rather than the year (although you're welcome to extend your Membership of course). They include all the benefits of Primary Membership, as well as one to one workshops, mentoring, and access to 6 or 10 courses over the three months - depending on your choice. Additionally, you will have a dedicated locker to keep your work safe between classes.
