Sarah Galloway
Sarah is a practising artist with over thirty years’ experience of creating important and valuable artworks in the public domain. Her architectural glass can be seen across the country and is inspired by her specialism in screen printing. Sarah’s career combines commissioned and personal work with teaching a range of classes including screen printing, life drawing, textile dyeing and printing, and painting.
Megan Bowyer
Resident Artist Meg Bowyer is an artist, writer, and curator from the northwest of England, whose work seeks to explore personal relationships with home landscapes, territories, and ecologies. Megs visual works utilise a variety of different mediums including soft pastel, graphite, digital print, egg tempera, ceramic, and foraged plant matter. Meg is primarily trained in drawing, having recently graduated from Paris College of Art with an Master of Fine Arts in Drawing.
Adele Armistead
Adele graduated with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design many moons ago, and more recently gained a Master’s degree in the Psychology of Advertising at Lancaster University. She has a background in graphic design for print – with a focus on branding, logo design, illustration & infographics, and editorial layout. www.moonloft.com
Rae Tribbick
Ceramicist, sculptor and writer: Rae leads ceramics here at Assembly Arts. When she's not covered in clay, you'll probably find her updating the website or recording a reel for Instagram. In her past she has been research scientist, a maths teacher and a studio potter. To her “science and art are two sides of the same coin - ways to learn about ourselves, the world around us and the relationships in between.”
Jane Timshle
Resident Artist Jane Timshle has been a self employed artist for over 30 years. Her creative endeavours have taken on many forms. Originally, trained as a sculptor, she gained her MA in America. Jane's work explores “the what ifs” of materials with their rules and limitations. Further details can be found at www.Timshle.com
Alan Morris
Passionate about photography and with a background in art education, Al has taught photography and art and design throughout his career. He now runs the photography facilities and darkroom at Assembly Arts. He has taught in a number of institutions, including as MA Course Leader for the Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice programme at Arts University Plymouth and Course Leader for the BA(Hons) Fine Art course at the University of Gloucestershire.
Ginny Koppenhol
Portrait photographer Ginny's biggest claim to fame is winning an art competition on the TV show "Rainbow". Her art work was introduced by Zippy. Trust us - she's someone you'll love to get to know. www.gkoppenholphotography.com
